Creeper at the movies

I took my son to the movies today. He was so excited because it was just us! The entire movie was ours until about 15 minutes from the end and a guy walk in and sits in the row behind us. Not directly behind us but off to the side. I found it weird so I kept him in my view peripherally. Movie ends and we watch the credits because I heard there was something when they were done. But I decide it's time to go. He gets up when we get up and starts to walk. Noted he's kind of behind us. I grab my son's jacket and he's like mom why are you pulling me ?

I was relived to see people in the halls looking for their theater but totally creeped out.

I didn't see the guy leave the theater but I looked over my shoulder even until we walked to the car.

Point is... We are vulnerable. Alone, with our kids, in daylight, we need to be aware. Don't let your guard down.

And in case you were wondering, tanger movies in deer park

That is creepy. Glad nothing happen.

Although him walking in would’ve raised alarm bells, I thought maybe he was waiting for the next one to start and people to meet him. However, he got up when you did which is extra creepy.

Creeper at the movies

Was he possibly an employee waiting to clean the theatre? I’ve seen them stroll in at the end to wait for everyone to leave.

I couldn't tell in the dark. I've seen that go in the past though. That would make sense. But don't sit so close to a mom with kids and don't follow us to the door.

That’s what I originally thought too.

I don't think this is creepy at all. I go to the movies by myself during the day all the time. I often see many men (and women) by themselves. He probably was waiting until the end like you were to see whatever it was that was going to happen.

Right but the thing that would have raised my alarms would be that he walked in when the movie was just about over.

And with the entire theater open, sat in the row behind the only two people- a woman and child. Definitely creepy.

Re: Creeper at the movies

That would freak me out. I'm suspicious of everyone and everything and I always expect the worst. I live in a perpetual state of anxiety because of it. IDK why, it's just my nature. Thinking about it though, he probably just wandered in after the movie he was watching ended. I see ppl do it all the time. He prob sat closer to you guys so that the employees wouldn't notice him. It's always good to be on guard though.
