Food at a Birthday Party- Which Would You Choose?- POLL
So my DD's birthday party falls such that food /cake will be served around 3:30/4:00. Its at an ice skating rink. My daughter would like to have bagels but I am not sure whether that is an odd time to serve bagels.
Which would you prefer?
Pizza and Juice or
Bagels and Hot COcoa

im in the minority, but i love bagels so i picked that.. i also think that if that's really what she wants for her birthday party, then go for it!

Maybe add muffins to the bagel selection.

My gut reaction is pizza at that time but if your daughter really wants bagels then definitely go for it. It’s her birthday, she’s in charge!

I like the idea of hot cocoa and I'd probably still eat a bagel, but I'd rather pizza.

I chose bagels and hot cocoa...
1 - Bagels - your daughter would like them - it's her birthday - go for it!
2 - Hot cocoa! YES! How perfect for an ice skating party!

I would just do what she wants, what is the harm if serving bagels in the afternoon if it makes the bday girl happy.? Most kids eat bagels, and if not, they can just hold out for cake.

If the birthday girl wants bagels and hot cocoa then that's what she should have. You can also serve pizza bagels or mini deep dish pizzas for the kids that prefer pizza.

Great idea! Maybe too much sugar for the kids lol but if i opt for the bagels I will make a platter of bagels and muffins for the grown ups. Thanks!

I was thinking the same although it seems that pizza is the more popular *and easier choice. Like the PP said.. who doesnt like bagels really and if they dont they can eat cake. Its not even a real meal time more like a snack time so i feel like anything could really work.

Seems like a good compromise  I think it will get too complicated though bc i have no way of keeping them warm
