When do you start decorating for Christmas?
Before kids, we would usually get around to it about a week before Christmas. Now that we have kids, I like to do it right after Thanksgiving. The kids get so excited about it and I like letting them enjoy it for a while before we take it down.

I'm curious - I went to pick up DS from a playdate yesterday and they were decorating their tree!
To me it is way too early. I know a lot of people do it the weekend after Thanksgiving but that is still way too early, IMO. We usually get a tree the first week of December.
Some people who host Thanksgiving like to have the tree up so thanksgiving can be the kickoff to Christmas ( like Santa coming at the end of the parade.)
And other people who are going away decorate before Thanksgiving since they don't have to do it that weekend.
I start super late all of the time! This year we are looking at Dec 14-16. I get a real tree and leave it up to the Epiphany, and live in a very dry apartment, so I can't get it too early.
I always want to put up the decorations early, but they are all in the same closet and not that easy to get too, so I just pull everything out at once. Maybe this year I will start Dec 8.

I like each holiday to have its moment in the sun, so I will take down my Thanksgiving decorations and redecorate this weekend.

We're going to decorate the house this weekend. Put up lights and stuff. Our tree we don't get until maybe the second week in December since we get a real one.

I can't have anything Christmas in my house on Thanksgiving. I like to celebrate one holiday at a time. We will decorate Friday & Saturday.

Usually the first week of December but because of our schedules this year it will be Sunday.
We get a real tree, so that's still a few weeks away and everything will stay up and lit until the Epiphany.

There is not a Christmas decoration to be seen in this house nor will there be until after Thanksgiving. Usually we decorate the first weekend in December.

The first weekend in December. This year that’ll be Dec. 1st. DH might want to start a little sooner since Thanksgiving is so early this year.
