Friends daughter drama
I think that 12 years olds will learn that actions have consequences, but at holiday time its completely inappropriate for a MOTHER to organize a gift exchange that is purposefully exclusive and exclusionary. If the girls organized it themselves that would be one thing, but the mother is fostering this behavior and its wrong IMO.

If you would expect her to still be included when does this child learn that you can't expect people to like you and include you in things if you are being mean to them?
I am not questioning the child being excluded. I am referring to posting about it when her friend could probably figure out it is about her and her daughter.

Re: Friends daughter drama
If the girl is not close with the daughter of the mom who organized the secret santa, I don't know why anyone would expect that she would be included. That being said, if the girl will feel left out not being included, ask the mom to include her. The mom is not a bully for not automatically thinking to include every last person. If after you ask for the girl to be included she says no, well then you have a mom who is a jerk and I wouldn't allow my daughter to participate.

Is it just me or does anyone else cringe reading this? I mean, the person could easily identify their child if they know the poster who posted this. Just seems hurtful all around, no matter if the child is disliked or not.
I don't think that the original poster would have posted all of that information if her best friend is on this site. And I would think she would be aware if her friend frequented the site if it is her closest friend.
