Ikea

Totally agree. Small, cute and lasts for years (ours is 6 years old). Kids love it. Bigger ones have more bells and whistles, but are a bigger footprint and it’s the same type of play.

Yup, love the Kidkraft my mom got for DD last year.

I like Melissa and Doug for wooden play food, but I really love the Learning Resources sets. They are such great quality and have so much variety. Everything from basics to sushi.

Love the kidkraft. Specifically that it stores everything food related inside no problem. Everything from the m&d cookies and cupcakes, dishes, pots, and cash registers fits in there. We have the uptown model.

We have a kid craft one too and it’s held up really well. I love that it stores ALL their food and accessories and it not really that big.

This is what we did two years ago. I think if you watch for sales, they have a decent one before Christmas. We paid around $90 for their Uptown play kitchen. They were great at replacing any pieces that were damaged in shipping (a few pieces had small dings, they sent new ones and they were easy to change out after Christmas). So far, it's help up to two rough boys.

Okay, I saved 4 kidskraft kitchens and 1 Naomi kids kitchen I like. What should I look for before I buy a kitchen? Do you think they will be on sale for Black Friday? I bought 4 different Melissa and Doug food toys and kitchen accessories from Target. 4 types of food with bins..accessories plates/spoons/pots etc..ice cream because momma loves ice cream and then a toppings one. I think this is good for now?

Yes, I'm not sure where you're looking to purchase but I bet there will be a sale on them on Amazon between now and Christmas. They are super popular.

I think you're fine with the food you have. My sister got one for DD last year with wayyyyy too many food sets and there are still some unopened! Meanwhile, I got a couple for the one at our house and she plays with them all plus it opened up some avenues for gifts this Christmas as a got a couple more kitchen accessories (Melissa & Doug pots/pans and utensil crock, juice bottles and fill 'em up cups, apron/chef hat, and a wooden Melissa and Doug birthday cake that she can decorate).
