I’m in the same predicament, going to my cousins wedding in PA in two weeks. My dh is a 100pp kinda guy even for sweet sixteens etc... we are paying for a hotel to stay the night. My whole family is invited, 5. When all of my PA cousins came for my wedding nine years ago they gave gifts or 50 dollars. Honestly I don’t want to give more than 200. But will probably have to give 300 because my dh is crazy

Depends on what part of MA.
Eastern on the coast, near Boston, probably more on par with LI. - Western Mass, I'd do like $150-$200 and you'll probably be the most generous family there.

I went to a wedding in Western MA a few years ago and it was more expensive than most LI weddings for 1/4 of the food.
