Switching cell phone providers
Has anyone successfully changed cell phone providers while you were still in contract and paying off phones? I have heard that some will pay your early termination fees and your remaining phone payments, but I wonder how true that really is.
I am paying a ridiculous amount for my family's cell phones. More than $400 for four lines with unlimited data. I need this to be less! I finally got rid of my huge cable bill and my home phone, but this call bill is out of control!
ETA: I'd also like to keep my numbers also.

yes- T-Mobile to Sprint because he cut my cost in HALF!
They took care of the old phones and what not.
I will say not happy but I will wait a yr to switch back.

Yes. Went from AT&T to Verizon. Verizon took care of everything. No additional fees and we kept our numbers.
