Has anyone bought a foam mattress online? One of the ones that get delivered right to your door and "poofs up" out of the box. Casper, Tuft and Needle, Purple, Nectar, etc? If so, reviews? Comfortable? How long have you had it? Seriously considering ordering one. I loathe mattress shopping just as much as car shopping. Ugh.

DH just got them for our little ones. I was like why would u buy that kind of matress?? Did u even read the reviews??? He did say the reviews for these 2 specific brands were great. We haven’t opened them yet cause we’re still working on their rooms, but if u want, I’ll update the post when their beds are ready.

I thought dh was crazy when he wanted to buy one online. But we've had one from amerisleep for like 6 months now and I can't say enough good about them! They are way cheaper than in the stores too because they don't have the overhead I guess. Our king size was like 1400 or something. We had 100 days to try it out and dh didn't like the hard one we got so they sent him another one no questions asked! and then gave us another 100 days to decide again. The reviews were all good online too.

Casper has a display I the Walt Whitman mall so you can try it out there if that's a brand you're interested in

I’ve had a Casper for over a year. I like it. I don’t know if it willl last 10 years, though. I believe they have a policy that you can try it out for 60 days or something. If you don’t like it, you can return it. It is slightly firm, but not too firm. If you find it too firm, I think they will send you a pillow top of some sort.

Totally going to be honest here, we bought a really cheap like $200 queen size memory foam one from Walmart, I’ll have to check the brand later in a whim as we were in the process of moving/ buying furniture before deciding on the type of bed. 5 years later it survived a move and storage, time, it’s still in perfect condition and firm as the day we got it! It had fantastic reviews when we bought it and I don’t regret it!

Same here. I bought it for our spare room when we moved in and we had a guest coming to stay with us on short notice. After a few months, we switched it to our room. It's so comfy.

We've had a Casper mattress for a couple of years. I have a lot of back problems and spring mattresses always seemed to cause me more issues. I've had minimal pain since we got the Casper.

We have a nova foam from Costco and we love it. We have had it 3 years now and it’s still just as good as when we got it. We got my parents one for Christmas and they love it too.

This policy is what deters me. What do they do with the returned mattresses? Do they resell them??

I believe they go to homeless shelters.

Amerisleep had us call one of those "junk" places to pick it up.
