I just saw someone - she doesn't *think* it's cancer, but obviously can't say for sure. Mammogram scheduled for next Monday. At least I don't have to wait a week with her thinking it could be cancer!

Yes true. They wouldn't make you wait a week if they suspected something serious.
It may be just a cyst or something along those lines. They are very common.
Good luck and hopefully you can relax a bit more now!

That's what I was thinking. I'm being cautiously optimistic, but I don't feel as stunned/sad/scared as I did before the appt. She actually seemed pretty sure that it wasn't cancer so that made me feel a lot better. I just know that she has no way of really knowing until the mammo (or other tests).

I really think it's nothing. A cancer lump usually doesn't pop up overnight. It's slow growing often.

This is very true. When I had to go for my biopsies, I was very scared. My Dr. told me that if they thought it was anything serious, they would not make me wait and would rush the appointment - so, in a weird way, having to wait is a "good" thing.

Had mammogram and ultrasound and it's just a cyst!! Man, the last week has been awful but I'm so relieved right now!! Thanks for all the support!
