Families of the victims of the Texas shooting
Do the victims' families have any recourse with the Air Force for failing to follow procedure and enter the shooter's domestic violence conviction into a database that would have barred him from purchasing firearms? The Air Force dropped the ball and these people suffered the consequence of the Air Force's negligence. I know the shooter could have obtained the guns illegally, but in this case he didn't.
How would you feel if the victim's families sued the Air Force? One family tragically lost 8 of its members in that shooting.

I don't have any answers to your questions, but was wondering the same thing. Something tells me they won't have any recourse against the Air Force

I hope they try. Someone should be held responsible. Someone didn't do their job and these families paid the price.

They should but who knows. Government Bureaucracy and all.
This story makes me so fking sick to my stomach.
The amount of children, BABIES who were killed - i can't wrap my brain around it without feeling like I am going insane.

I know what you mean. All those children, and to the family that is burying EIGHT of their own, how do you come back from that? It makes me so angry to think this animal was able to legally buy guns with his history.
