Yes I am a horrible citizens tomorrow is election day and I really have no clue who is up for reelection.

Where can I find this out.

2018 is the big one right where we can actually try to change who is in congress?

This page lists the candidates and offices, but nothing about their background or policies....

It's sad how difficult it is to find out any useful information about who is planning on running our government.
You really need to find out who is in your voting district, then look up each person individually to find out where they stand on key items.

Newsday has all the candidates listed. 2018 Is huge but if you're concerned about changing your rep in Congress local elected officials is the place to start. Personally, I can't wait to try to vote out Zeldin as my congressman, so if we can get more democrats in county legislature positions in his district that's more endorsements and more people pushing for his opponent next year. I'm prey new at following all this tbh but that is my understanding.

i don't know what your political leanings are but please look at the candidates and come out to vote! voter turnout is notoriously low in off years for local elections which tend to influence your everyday life more.
