Cracked iPhone Screen
So my DS dropped my iPhone this morning. There is a hairline fracture crack on it. I have already made an appointment to have it fixed with apple on Saturday morning. Does anyone how long fixing it will take? An hour? More? Less?
Thanks!

Re: Cracked iPhone Screen
I was going to say an hour or two but if I am remembering correctly I went in at the end of the night and they told me I would have to come the next day to get it cause they close in a half hour and it takes some time to set

Thanks!
Its a hairline fracture so it is not too bad. My ILs are coming this weekend and I do not feel like waiting there 2 hours to get it fixed. I might just wait until the following weekend when I have nothing planned.

15 minutes? lol it usually takes 15 minutes to just wait for the so-called “genius”, even after having an appointment. Then another 15 minutes talking to the genius answering 100 questions like how my day is going, what did I have for lunch, even though I just have a cracked screen. Then they will say will take about an hour can wait or drop off and come back then to pick up.
I loathe dealing with the Genius Bar. Apple is so smug they even auto capitalize “Genius Bar” on my iPhone.

Well, Apple is genius to make phones that have screens that crack so easily. Thus getting people in there, stealing their time and their money! I drop my phone all the time and it's never cracked, nor has any other phone I've owned...all non Apple! (Samsung Galaxy). My friend and I were just talking about this actually. No cracked screens in her family either (also non apple)

Well I was looking at it more closely and it turns out my glass screen protector was cracked NOT my phone. My DH put on a new protector so problem solved!!!
