Pregnancy After Mirena
I am getting my Mirena taken out next week and was wondering how long it took you ladies to get pregnant?

Pregnancy After Mirena
Hi there! I had my Mirena taken out last September. Had a chemical in February and finally got pregnant in May. My husband's SA didn't come back as great so that was probably why it took us a while. Wish you best of luck and lots of baby dust!

Did they give your DH anything to take? I'm worried about both of us as we are 5 years older than the last time we tried

Pregnancy After Mirena
Nothing to take so far. We did his SA in may and his results actually came in couple days after I got the BFP. Doctor still recommended he sees a urologist because the morphology was so bad. They didn't find anything at the appt but ordered 2 more repeat tests to see what comes back. With our first child we got pregnant on the second try (this was 4 yrs ago).

I just had my mirena taken out today...I'm not sure if I am going to actually be trying, but the doctor said that within the month I would definitely be fertile again, so to be careful. I am a little older now (35! eek!) so I'm not sure if it would happen easily, but you never know.

I had some bleeding 2 days later that only lasted 2 days... now just waiting for my actual period.

I'm still waiting. Monday will be 4 weeks! I haven't been terribly careful with birth control, but I took a test today just in case and it was negative. Calling the doctor Monday to ask for advice.

Just as an FYI, I have had my iud out about 8-9 weeks and I am pregnant...a bit unexpectedly as we were sort of trying to prevent, but we are adjusting to our change in plans! Guess it can happen quickly.

I was on bcp, but wasn't great about consistently taking them...
