What's the longest you've ever driven?

What's the longest you've driven? There are several categories for this, so fill in as many as you'd like, and add other categories if you think of them.

Continuously, only stopping for bathroom breaks and quick bites to eat.

In one trip (a 10 day trip across the country, for example)

These can be in distance or time.

I haven't done any massive road trips. I don't think I've been on a multi-day road trip at all.

The longest I've probably driven is maybe 10 hours or so. I've done plenty of 5-6 hour trips.

What's the longest you've ever driven?

I have driven to Galveston Texas. Quick pee breaks and an overnight.

I have driven one shot from NJ to Battle Creek Michigan.

I have driven one shot from NJ to Memphis.

I have driven to Orlando. That included an overnight.

All driving would have small bathroom breaks and a meal break. I did try to stop every 2 hours to stretch because it can be exhausting driving for a long time..

The most I spent in a car is 8 hours with one stop for lunch and a small pee break.

Drove from Rochester to Key West with just meal and bathroom breaks in college. Took about 24 hours.

What's the longest you've ever driven?

Not me, but DH. A few years ago he and his older son took a 3 week cross country road trip - left NY, stopped in Ohio, Chicago, Wyoming, Seattle, Down the CA coast to (SF and LA), Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, New Orleans, Atlanta and straight home from there.

Also, a few weeks ago he drove from Columbus, OH to Walton, NY and back home on LI all in one day - about 12 hours without stops

What's the longest you've ever driven?

From LI to Florida we only stop for gas, food and bathroom. That's about it for me

ETA: I just reread the question and realized I didn't answer truthfully. I think I have driven maxed 7-8 hours myself without stopping with the exception of gas, food, and bathroom

Miami to LI, only stopping for gas, food and bathroom. 24-28ish hours straight? It ended up giving me a blood clot which turned into a pulmonary embolism and almost killed me.

Never again.

LI to Georgia was the furthest I've driven. About 13 hours

What's the longest you've ever driven?

8 hours is the longest trip, but we moved from Atlanta to Seattle and then Seattle to NC. Both times we drove each day for around 8 hours (stopping for food and bathroom), but spent the night then drove another 8 hours the next day. I think both trips took us 5 days b/c we drove I-40 down the southern part of the US then along the Pacific coast (it was winter both times and we didn't want to get stuck in the mountains through the shorter route).

Solo? Roundtrip NY to FL several times. It is a 20 hour drive so I did over 2 days. 14 hours Day #1, overnight in hotel and 6 hours Day #2. I could comfortably drive for about 5 hours without stopping for bathroom (i drink a lot of water and iced tea) or leg stretching.

We lived in IL growing up and would visit family or go on vacation on the Jersey Shore. SOemtime my parents would drive through other we would stay over.

As an adult I have driven straight through to FL a few times and by myself I drove to Northern Maine (about 8-10 hrs).

What's the longest you've ever driven?

When we follow our favorite band around, we usually en up doing a road trip.

We've flown to Columbus Ohio then drove to Indiana, then Chicago then Wisconsin and Maryland and home. Now we are just smart enough to break them up.

I've done straight through from LI to Hammondsport NY (6 hours)...

Then 11 hours each way (with traffic) from NY to outside Raleigh, NC - 3 stops due to Mom being in the car - I'd have probably only done 1.

LI to Cleveland, OH. I did one stop for bathroom break & 1 for gas. Took about 8 1/hrs.

NY to Hilton Head, SC. It's as far as I'll ever drive. The thought of driving just a few hours further south to Florida always makes me want to cry. I commend all of you who do it.

Massena NY up near Canada round trip was almost 16 hours. In a hearse. My back was killing me.

We've driven to Florida several times. Usually stop overnight in Georgia, and short gas/bathroom/meal breaks along the way. On a regular basis, we drive to Charlotte to visit family. It takes us between 11-12 hours depending on traffic. We usually stop for one quick meal, and snacks in the car.

NY to Hilton Head, SC. It's as far as I'll ever drive. The thought of driving just a few hours further south to Florida always makes me want to cry. I commend all of you who do it.

NY to Columbus, GA. About 15 hours. We did that back and forth several times. No stopping other than pee breaks and to get gas.

LI to Niagara Falls Canada about 8 1/2 hours

NY to FL- we were moving and had our cats with us, so we did frequent stops and an overnight stay on the border of NC/SC. It took us about 12 hours each day with the stops.

DH and I drove from NY to CA. We took 6 days to do this. Longest day driving was 14 hours

I've driven with no stops - 6 hours - this Memorial Day weekend. Luckily, my toddler has amazing bladder control - lol!

I've driven 7-8 hours with 1 stop.

I've been a passenger to Disney probably 20 times.
