Re: Hard or soft?
LOL
I thought this was about something else...
Tacos.

I did a lot of research when I bought my last piece and I went with soft because it weighs less, you can shove more stuff in it, and I heard when they toss the hard luggage around on the planes etc that it can get banged up pretty badly.

Hard or soft?
I like the soft ones. I think you can over stuff them a bit. I don't like the way you pack on each side of the hard sided.

Hard or soft?
We just bought new luggage and I thought I wanted hard but then I found some of the lightweight soft and bought that. I am always overweight and the lightweight luggage saves about 5 pounds. So far has held up great with two vacations.

Re: Hard or soft?
Hard. I tend to buy wine, so hard protects the wine better .

Hard or soft?
Hard. Less for bed bugs to grab onto. I didn't find hard case luggage that much heavier than soft. (no difference at all?) and the items inside are protected

Hard or soft?
I don't like that hard luggage opens in the middle so you have to pack on each side. I prefer soft with one big packing space. But DH likes hard, so we I have that for packing wine or other fragile things
