So I finally watched it on you tube. (I wasn't watching last night because I can't bring myself to watch that channel as long as that skank Jenny McCarthy is on. Just looking at her face makes me ill)

First of all- she seemed drunk or high as a kite. At the beginning when she had to have the guys help her walk? What the eff was that?

Then she was like walking around and seemed to have no direction when the dancers were trying to dance with her.

it was almost like someone threw a microphone in her hand and was like GO! With no rehersal, no staging, no practice, no planning.
She was completely dumbfounded.

It was like someone who had never sung, had never been a SINGER, who was given a microphone and they were terrified and clueless.

Holy shit. If she was supposed to be paid to perform, they should absolutely not pay her because she didn't do her job even a little.

And as far as the outfit. She is so far away from having the body to be able to walk around a stage with no pants on.
So far
It was hard to look at.

I watched part of it on TMZ and i just dont get it. Why didn't she just sing? I was screaming "SING" to the video. Lol.

She seemed to forget that the show must go on. If you are a singer, just sing. It was very clear she was lip syncing the entire performance.
At this point, this diva just needs to retire.

I assume she refused to sing b/c she knew it would sound awful and she's too "good" for that. You know, she has to keep checking to make sure she looks good…she obviously has issues.

I'm just absolutely dumbfounded at how she can no longer sing- yet she's going on tour! I was at that tree lighting thing, and she lip synched the whole thing. Mouthed the words
She can no longer walk without being held up by escorts
She blasted people while onstage

If it was for ratings, wouldn't people have to have known about it in advance so that they could tune in if they weren't otherwise going to? That makes no sense.

She need to hang it up already. She was hanging on by a thread and this just confirmed she doesn't have what she use to.

To suggest that DCP, as producer of music shows including the American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and Academy of Country Music Awards, would ever intentionally compromise the success of any artist is defamatory, outrageous and frankly absurd,” the statement said.

“In very rare instances there are of course technical errors that can occur with live television, however, an initial investigation has indicated that (**** Clark Productions) had no involvement in the challenges associated with Ms. Carey’s New Year’s Eve performance. We want to be clear that we have the utmost respect for Ms. Carey as an artist and acknowledge her tremendous accomplishments in the industry,” the statement said.

I don't care if her earpiece wasn't working she could still hear the music blasting. Just like her dancers were able to hear it and dance to it. Just like the audience could sing to it when she handed the microphone over to them to take over. She could have recovered but she's an absolute mess who thinks she's hot shitt. Hopefully this brought her back down to earth.

This is how I know she was unprofessional.

I am an actor. I have been on stage. A lot. I have sung to canned music. I have been where its hard to hear the music.

1. The dancers went on and could hear. SO its no excuse.

2. The AUDIENCE was singing. If they could hear she could.

3. She revealed she cant hit the big notes anymore. The canned music (which we know she was going to sing live to) ONLY had her 2 high "notes" "sections". SO it was just background music with her high notes dubbed in.

She is a mess. She is a disgrace.
