Cow's milk question
Slightly embarrassed to ask but I am clueless bc my kids never drank cow's milk until recently and I've never drank it either. How long do you let them drink it if it's sitting out in a sippy cup at room temperature?

Cow's milk question
I usually dump it if it's been sitting there for more than 30 minutes.

Re: Cow's milk question
DS's ped said no more than 2 hours. I had to ask because DS won't really drink it anymore. He takes 2 sips and then won't want it again till later in the day. I was dumping out so much milk. Now I only give him a little at a time.

Re: Cow's milk question
I'd say about an hour or two tops. When in doubt, give it a sniff.

Cow's milk question
If I see him not drinking it, I put it in the fridge for later. I'd say 1-2 hours.

Re: Cow's milk question
I'm much more lax. I feel it. If it feels cool, I let them drink it (that can be 3 hours). I figure... they drink milk at a restaurant and I never think anything of it if they finish it and hour later into the meal... so 1 hour is a minimum.
My kids have never gotten sick from milk or any food...
