Where do you donate clothing?
I used to have St. Marys pick it up but the number is no longer in service. Where do you donate clothing?

theres a bin in he whole foods parking lot in manhasset that I put clothes in.

I have a friend bring it to a domestic violence shelter. The women there left abusive husbands with little to nothing.

Where do you donate clothing?
the safe center in bethpage works with DV victims. I know they are having a drive, but not sure they will take used clothing. you can call and see. You can bring it to Good will.
many churches have clothing closets, like food pantry people come and pick out items they need

Where do you donate clothing?
My stuff goes to a local church I have vetted for local ONLY purposes. I refuse to give to bins anymore. I detest that my items were being shipped to other countries. Personal preference.

Church. Those bins sell off your clothes to thrift stores by the pound. At least with the church, it goes to people in the community.

Yeah, the bins are pretty much all scams, unless it's like the St. Vincent DePaul that the Church sponsors and has a bin in their parking lot.

United War Vetarans or Lupus - they both use the same pick up service and you can schedule a time for pick up of pretty much anything

Thanks. The one I called for years was in Suffolk. Called the usual number and it is out of service. I looked up other numbers and never got anywhere.
