Never buy toys or games at Kohls. They are like 50 percent more than anywhere else. Even with the 30 off coupon they still come out SIGNIFICANTLY higher than other stores like Target, Walmart, Amazon, even Toys r us

I actually got one there yesterday for like $10. It was "on sale" (yeah I know they mark up) and I had a $5 coupon plus the 30%. BUt I only got the 1 because the prices were obscene.

I actually do really well there. Their original prices are ridiculous but when you stack sales, coupons, kohls cash, and ebates you can do really well at times. I do comparison shop and am a big amazon shopper but I also do well at kohls under the right circumstances.

I got some Kohls cash yesterday and I think a new 20% in the mail today so maybe I will get 1 or 2 more there. I did great on clothes there yesterday.
I checked the Toys R Us Black Friday ad and the games I need for the adopt a family are still not that cheap. Some for DD are good though. Hopefully they will have some coupons too.
Madness!

Re: Speaking of shopping

Don't know your DD's age or what kind of board games you're looking for but have you checked Five Below? They sell board games for $5, sometimes less. ToysRUs also has select games on sale for $5-$10 sometimes.

The games were just buy 2 get 1 free at Target recently. I feel like Toys r Us usually has a sale like that closer to Christmas each year also?

Re: Speaking of shopping

In my experiences board games aren't too bad. My DH and I are board game enthusiasts and I find the more $$ ones are the lesser known German board games. The popular ones, especially for kids, you can usually find a deal on I find. Check Target as it gets closer to the holidays.

Do you have any suggestions for good games for only 2 adults? Don't mind if it is 'difficult' but should be enjoyable.

I have a hard time finding good games for just 2 people.

Thanks

My dh and I love Ticket to Ride and Carcosonne. Both can be played in a group but my dh and I 99.9% of the time just play the two of us and really enjoy it. Also, (though this is an obvious and popular one) Scrabble Chat Icon

I just saw the time lock scrabble on clearance on the target site for $8. After the coupon it's $6 shipped.
