Few days away... any ideas
Thinking of going away for Christmas. Last year we went to Washington DC. We had a great time!
Any ideas that we can get away on Christmas for a couple of days? No more than 3 - 4 hours.
We've also done Hershey park. Any other places worth visiting with lots to do?

New Hampshire is gorgeous in the White Mountains. There is a new resort that just opened....Riverwalk at Loon Mountain. If you like winter activities you could go snowtubing, skiing, dog sledding, go to Santa's Village amusement park (absolutely adorable place! but I think they are only open on NYE during that time). You can visit mount washington, take a train ride, etc. We might do that. The drive wasn't bad from the Bridgeport ferry terminal, about 4 hours or so.

We are doing Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens Christmastown. Should be a good time.

We don't have the our kids after about 7pm on Christmas Day and both have off on Monday so we decided to go to AC overnight.

Nice. We used to go to AC on Christmas. We don't celebrate it though
