Anyone give their kid a daily probiotic?
If so which one?
Does it help?
DD is very picky and eats like a bird and I feel she doesn't get enough fiber. She is always backed up, crying her stomach hurts, hard poops. Once she goes, she feels better instantly.
Sometimes when it's bad we give her Miralax and it works great.
She also takes fiber gummies daily.
I saw a commercial for Culturelle for kids- the regularity one with fiber.
I was considering getting it for her but I know myself, sometimes a fiber supplement gives me gas pains and the last time we tried give her more fiber she got bad gas pains.
I was curious if anyone used this one and how it was. Any side effects like gas pain?
If not, which one do you use and do you find it helps?

This is not exactly what you are asking, but we have DD drink prune juice daily...she loves it! If she goes a day without pooping, we give her a prune or two to eat too.
She has had tummy/poop issues since a newborn and this seems to do the trick.

We use this one and I believe it works well. My kids are very regular. They've been taking a probiotic since only a few months old so I can't really say if they are better or more regular with it, but they are regular and rarely have any stomach issues.

Yes. I give my son regular culturelle, I open the capsule and sprinkle the powder into his drink.

Anyone give their kid a daily probiotic?
I give my son the regular kids culterelle and I think it helps his stomach. He gets constipated from time to time and I think he is better when he takes it consistently.

Garden of Life RAW for Kids probiotic daily. It's a powder. I put it in my DDs yogurt, apple sauce or dissolve in juice.

Kids probiotic
We use this one as well. Kids love it.
A liquid multi with magnesium will also help with constipation.

I use daily probiotics for my daughter usually put it in a smoothie or her yogurt, its a powder that stays refrigerated. No side effects at all.

When my dd1 was constipated, we started giving her a probiotic daily and it really fixed the problem. That was about four years ago and we still give her one daily. We have used a few different kinds and now use this one. It keeps both my dds regular. Probiotic

Thanks all I am going to give one of these a try.
For me, probiotics never helped much and i have tried them all it seems.
But her issue is the opposite of mine so I'm hoping it will help her!

My ds takes a probiotic & a supplement from animal parade called kid greenz. It has fiber, broccoli & spinach in it. Has a tropical flavor so ds loves it. He's such a picky eater too. So I feel better that he's getting something with fiber in it.

ETA:DD has allergies and some probiotics have dairy in it so this one is perfect. She's been taking it since she was around 3 months old. Plus it has fruits and veggies in it. You can get it at Vitamin Shoppe in the refrigerated section.

Yep, DD gets a probiotic every day -- I mix it into her sippy cup at dinner with her milk. We used to use the Culturelle Kids brand, but then I discovered Target made their own Up & Up brand version and we've been using that ever since since its significantly cheaper. They are single serving powder packets. The few times she's been on antibiotics for ear infections, I've always doubled up on the probiotics (breakfast and dinner) since antibiotics do a number on your digestive track, killing all the good and bad bacteria.
