how many of you have or plan to vote early?
today, i will spend my evening crocheting and going over my voter guide (CA has a very long ballot this election cycle), and i hope to vote on sunday.

LOL I was like, why have election day if we can all just vote early? Like if that's an option why wait?
And why have an election day if half the country can vote sooner?
Very confusing to me!

Not an option in NY. Some states have it, I don't know why, but I would guess to make it likely that more people will actually vote?

I still can't believe in this day and age we don't have an option of online voting.
Just imagine how many more people would vote if they could do it online, or on an app or something.

Too much paranoia (both real and imagined) about hacking and multiple voting. If it's all on-line, it's all accessible. Just think about how many credit card breaches there have been.

I am in CT. I don't think we have early voting but this year we will be away so we are doing absentee ballots. I will be filling htose out and sending it in this coming week.

What is the point of early voting? Can they do it for everyone running or just the President?
They are worried about voter fraud, this seems like it'd be a prime culprit.

Not able to in NY.
My guess is that it's in states where there aren't as many polling places and the lines get long? I've never had to wait on a line to vote but I'm seeing stories of people who are voting early and they've had to wait on long lines.

I felt the same way. I've seen pics of friends and family in Indiana and Arkansas that voted early.
