im not anticipating a gift.. but knowing DH, he gives a gift for every little thing.. I will probably get the little shoe with the birthstone and the name engraved in the back.. he thinks thats cute.. maybe flowers. who knows.. im just happy with having the baby!

I didn't want anything either -  was enough - but dh went out and bought me a "journey" necklace that I love - it was so sweet since as he said we are starting a new journey together! He also brought flowers "from Samantha" for me!

Considering I'll be attempting to breastfeed twins and that's a round the clock job, I'd like...
A clean house
A freezer stacked with dinners
All of the laundry done, folded and put away.
I don't even think I'll have a minute to appreciate flowers

The greatest gift he could give me would be his help after the baby comes home. I don't expect anything more than that. Yet, I do know people who have gotten something after.

I got a beautiful claddagh necklace that held 2 heart charms for our DC's birthstones. But more importantly was the help of cooking and cleaning and taking care of our DS when I was exhausted.
