Bathing Newborn in sink
When I had my first, the sink in our kitchen was very small - so I had to bath him in a tub within our regular tub, kneeling on the floor after a csection was pretty tough...plus i had to find a place to store this large plastic tub. We've since remodeled the kitchen, so I have a larger D Shaped sink. I just feel like its less mess and more convenient to bath in the sink for the first few months this time around - I was looking at those blooming flower things you can bath them in? But i dont know, seems like you'd have to ring it out everytime and let it hang dry...not really what Im looking for.
anyone have any suggestions as to what I can use to bath in sink?
Thanks!

Re: Bathing Newborn in sink
I used the Puj tub but it was eh. It fit well in smaller sinks- like bathroom sinks, believe it or not!
I ended up just holding her and bathing her in the sink with nothing in it after awhile.

The Puj was flucking terrible. It wasn't sturdy at all and I felt like the snaps would open and dd would fall through. We used it twice.
I used the 4moms tub in the sink and it was great.

Bathing Newborn in sink
When he was very little I used the fisher price whale tub over my sink. As he got.older and splashed more I moved it to my bath tub.

I have the pink blooming bath I'm selling. It's yours for $20 if you want it.

Bathing Newborn in sink
i tried almost every tub on the market. The Fisher Price Whale of a tub was the best by far! easily fits in a sink and can be moved to a tub later on

Re: Bathing Newborn in sink
I got a blue tub like 3 yrs ago that fit in the sink perfectly (I'm so sorry, I can't remember the name). I used it just until my DS were able to sit, once that happened I'd just have them sit in the sink and wash them there (my mom used to to this with her kids and grandkids). It was very convenient, and it was less of a mess. I'll see if I can google the brand of the tub I used.

Re: Bathing Newborn in sink
I used a Fisher price tub with a sling in the beginning. Once she outgrew the sling, I removed it and she used the plastic tub, still in the sink. My kitchen sink is huge and it fit right in there. Once she was able to sit up on her own, I just put a towel down and bathed her in the sink. She's over 2 and STILL getting baths in the kitchen sink. I have a bad back so I plan on bathing her in there until she doesn't fit anymore. She's tiny for her age and the sink is so big so it works for us.
