Sibling to party Q

At home yard birthday. I have no one to watch my other child (2 years older). Okay to ask to bring him along or no way? I know the answer is no way when it's a party place but idk in this scenario. Otherwise I just won't go. Maybe text her that my son is sick or something? If I tell the truth that's like twisting her arm right? I was going to leave my other w/ dh but now he has to go in to work.

I think it would be ok to bring a sibling in this case.

Re: Sibling to party Q

In this case I would ask just because there's no issues with headcount and paying extra. If she says yes I'd make it clear to your older child not to expect a favor though.

Yes, ask. I'm finding it more and more difficult to make it to these birthday parties BC of my other kids. I mostly decline now unless I can bring one of the others Chat Icon

This I think you should ask.
