Traveling with formula (airport)
Hello all we will be flying with my 3mth old next weekend and I was just wondering what I should do with formula situation. I may try and switch her to powder but as of now we use ready to feed. How many unopened containers can I carry on? Premade bottles? Etc Any tips you can give me would be appreciated! Also we will be going to theme park during the day best solution for packing bottles for the day?

You can bring whatever you need. I even had juice in sippy cups for my older dd. They opened it and held a tester stick over it. (Didn't touch the milk or juice) they said it captures the vapors. They swabbed my hands too because I was carrying an infant with food etc. they were quick about it too. So just bring whatever you need to make it easy for you. This was just last month at jfk
As far as the theme park with the bottles I would just bring a cooler with a lot of ice. I actually put bags of ice in my insulated diaper bag and carried a half gallon of cashew milk for quite a few hours. I just changed the ice once. It stayed cold.

You can take on as much as you need. Dd1 was 4 1/2 months and on rtf formula when we flew. I'm anxious and ocd so I took way too much. In case of delays, etc lol. I just declared it at security and the ran a wand over it and swiped by hands with something. I took like 4 8oz cans of alimentum and a think like 3 bottles lol.

If you're concerned about it being tested you could bring a full, unopened bottle and then a cooler with empty bottles and make the bottles once you're past security.

I brought tons of RTF & checked it in a suitcase. Also checked baby food. I did bring 1 powder container in my diaper bag. Brought about 5 bottles in my diaper bag. No problem... They tested my hands & the bottles without opening.
