What do you think is happening?

DS, 6.5 months old, just threw up 3x.

I changed his nipple flow to level 2 about 2 days ago.
I started him on liquid vitamins recently and I introduced a new food this morning.

So it could be a bug or one of these, not sure.

Is there a bug going around?

There's always a bug going around. Just watch out for fever and keep him hydrated.

Thanks. Do you think it could possibly be the new food i introduced? He's only been around us and no one has had the bug.

What do you think is happening?

It is likely the food you introduced this morning- wait a few days and try it again.

A true allergic reaction would require several episodes of vomiting, rash, swelling of lips and surrounding area and/or diarrhea.

It might not be related to that specific food.

Interesting. He didn't get a rash and there was no swelling.

I'm giving him his bottle now. I'll see if he still continues to vomit.

For DD it was. She had reflux though.
She would volcano vomit up an entire bottle if she drank it too fast.
We kept her on level 1 nipples the whole time she was on bottles.

I'd call your ped. I don't know what new food you gave, but any adverse reaction to a new food could be a sign of an allergy. Just because one child has a certain allergic reaction doesn't mean all allergies manifest the same way.
