Diaper sizes
What size diaper and how big is your baby?
My little guy is 6 weeks and a really skinny 10lbs. He sends to fit well in pampers swaddlers size 1 but the size 1 in pampers baby dry seems small so I'm wondering if he should be in size 2.
How can you tell it's ready to move up a size?

DD is 4 months, just under 15lbs and in swaddlers size 2.
It depends on the baby, not necessarily just the weight. When the 1's seemed the tiniest big snug we switched to 2.

If size 1 seems small then move him up to size 2. Every baby's body is different so you really can't go by others. There's really no right or wrong answer here.

Agreed. I also don't think bigger can really be a problem except for being extra bulky under clothes. It doesn't hurt to buy them and see what you think, you'll use them eventually if you already like the brand.

I'd use up whatever size 1's you have left and just move onto 2's. When they start getting a little snug is when I move them up.

It depends on the baby. Just use your best judgment.
Everything in parenting is basically us guessing. There is no set hard rules or ways to know anything. If they look small to you...size up.

I tend to move up well before the weight guide indicates. Dd2 was in a size 2 around 2.5 months (11lbs).
