Carribbean Beach Resort or Polynesian Village
I am a serious WDW newbie.
Any reviews on either of these resorts? We are only to stay 1 night on WDW. We have a timeshare off the resort for the rest of the week.
We are traveling with our 1 year old. Would like a fun kiddie pool / splash area for him.
TIA!

Are you visiting the Magic Kingdom while you are there? If so, I would do Poly since you have a million internal bus stops at Caribbean Beach Resort, and it will take longer to get to the Magic Kingdom.

Thanks! Yes, we are planning to visit Magic Kingdom the following morning. The Poly is significantly more expensive so I wasn't sure but maybe it's worth it so we don't have to schlep.

Hands down Polynesian. You don't even have to fold your stroller. Just push onto monorail. Also have the boat access.
I like our food options at Polynesian also. We love pineapple dole whip and tonga toast.

I would go w/ the Poly- you have the advantage of being on a monorail stop

Thanks. Ok so I think the Caribbean Beach is out....How about the Grand Floridian? I have had dinner their and remember it being nice, but I don't know what the pool / resort area looks like.

for one night--- i would definitely splurge a little on the polynesian!!!! its RIGHT on the monorail to magic kingdom--- AND close to the ticket and transportation center to get buses or ferries to other parks. the pool there was just redone and looks SO much fun! i believe they even have a little spray/splash play area which would be perfect for a 1 year old! Grand floridian i hear is nice--- but i've head its a little "stuffy"/formal for some people- so depends on what you want i guess.

Re: Carribbean Beach Resort or Polynesian Village
Both the Poly and the Grand Floridian have splash pad areas for kids. The GF area is Alice in Wonderland themed. The Polynesian area is tikis.
We don't have kids so we avoid those areas like the plague but people rave about them!
I think the pool situation is pretty much equal. The GF is a bit more spread out than the Poly.

The Poly or Carribean beach? THE POLY no doubt. I have stayed at both. You can't beat POLYs location.

This, especially now that the Poly is redone. It was like The Brady Bunch does Hawaii in there for a loooong time. So dated..
