What are the no no months in regards to the heat when considering a vacation there? I have been to Vegas once, but it was many moons ago...I forget.

I went once in early Sept & it was soo hot.
Another time went in March & it was perfect!

Sept was too hot? Oh man! I know the summer months are insane but I thought by the fall it would be cooler...

I was there last May (very beginning of the month) and it was pretty hot - not unbearable but we were mostly just hanging by the pool during the day. I have also been there in October - weather was beautiful - very warm, enough for swimming and wearing summer clothes, but not sweltering. I was there once in November and it was unseasonably cool. I would think April and late Sept/Oct would be great. I'd stay away from June, July, Aug and early Sept.

According to a cab driver we had there when we went years ago it's brutal from May to Oct.
We went in April and it was already pretty damn hot. Like almost 90 degrees hot.
He said July is well over 100
Fall there is not like fall here at all

We went in Aug....it was hot. But honestly, it wasn't too hot for anything we wanted to do! Walking the strip during the day was hot, but we stopped in the different hotels/casinos to look around and that cooled us off. Then made the pool awesome during the day!

I've been there in July, it was pretty brutal.

I went years ago in March for a business trip. I don't even remember what hotel I stayed in, but I need to go to hotel next door to meet a vendor. My hotel had huge escalators going down to the sidewalk. They asked me if they could call me a cab. I laughed and said to go to the hotel next door?
OMG. It was about 99 out and I swear it was over a half mile walk to the hotel. I got there drenched and overheated and was so miserable. What a dummy I was.

Honestly, we went 2 years ago in July and it was actually hotter on Long Island. We were freezing when we were in Vegas and were trying to find sweat shirts. Even the pools were cold because it rained when we got in.

My DH was there for business in August and it was INSANELY hot...........like 104 degrees every day. He said it was brutal so I would skip the summer months for sure!! Especially since Vegas is A LOT of walking, you don't want to be melting!! lol
