Sitting up unassisted...
How many months was your child sitting up with no help ... Like sitting up in play pen playing with toys? TIA

DD started (consistently & not toppling over) just after 6 months.

DS was 4.5 months old. DD was a few weeks older, closer to 5 months.

I have to sit my daughter down. She just turned 9 months. She still can't pull herself up if laying flat on her back (although she tries).

About 7 mos but dd is low tone. She could sit up a little earlier than that but toppled easily. 7 mos was a more secure sit. She couldn't go from laying to sitting til about 9 mos., maybe later.

DS started sitting unassisted around 7 months but I have to put him that way. If he falls over he can't pull himself back up into a seated position yet even though he tries. He's 8 months old

ds1 was pretty late, almost 10 months (but he had gross motor delays across the board).
ds2 could sit up unassisted before 6 months old.
