Bethany Beach/Rebooth Beach
Has anyone every been? We're going this summer and want to know the great things to do. We're renting a house. Is there a Walmart and reasonable grocery store down there or should I buy stuff here?

Great place!!! Walmart is there and Food Lion. You can walk the boardwalk and play games, go on rides. There is a water park, movie theatre, lots of shops on the main strip as well as 3 outlet centers. Lots of restaurants. Great beaches! Mini golf, race car driving (go karts), paint pottery studio. Dolphin cruises, jetski and paddle board. Sooo much to do!

Yes there is Walmart in Rehoboth and everything is cheaper down there plus no sales tax.
We always try to hit Dogfish Head Brewery. Grotto's pizza is always a must but I'm the only one from NY who likes it (college nostaligia  ) My kids love Mango's in Bethany and the Penguin Diner.
For the kids, we hit Funland in Rehoboth which will have you on sensory overload but they love it. Bethany boardwalk is quaint and fun to wander around and they have concerts and stuff many evenings.

For food, consider checking out harris teeter. My sister lived in Fenwick and that store was all I heard about. Years later I still hear how much she loved it.

I love Rehoboth! We had a summer home there, some of the best memories from my childhood. You have to try Grotto's just because you have to, pizza kind of stinks but it's a staple and Thrasher's French fries with vinegar! You're going to have a blast, it's the perfect place for kids. Walmart is super close to Rehoboth.

Boardwalk fries!! They come in different up to a bucket! So delicious!! But be careful the seagulls try to get them from you!! LOL

Just had a question about the location of the 2 towns...are they adjacent to each other?

Yes, they are all off the same road. Rehoboth being north of bethany.
You can stay at a hotel, condo or rent a house.There are some nice hotels on the boardwalk but over the summer they are very expensive.

I rent a condo at Sea Colony in Bethany. It's like a resort with activities. We love it!

Yes!! I came across that the other day!! Bonus is we are Marriott reward members and have a bunch of points!
This is right on the boardwalk. It's great location in that you will not drive at all, but on nights they have concerts it will be loud and crowded. The restaurant attached is great!
