Daylight savings time
Do you alter your kids bedtimes in preparation for daylight savings time? I've read some people put their kids to bed 15 minutes earlier for a few nights before DST so they don't feel the loss of the hour.

Daylight savings time
Nope, never did and never will. It's just a clock. Last I heard my kid couldn't read time as an infant. LOL Seriously. My cats are fed at certain times, they are more of a hassle for two days than she was.
My kiddo is just now really grasping the concept of time. Still Go to sleep early by an hour means waking up early by an hour (like vacation when we have leave early to get to the airport) and going to bed and losing an hour sleep really makes no difference since she's asleep and the hour forward is lost when she isn't noticing it.
I actually forgot about it all and just kept the same routine and she didn't care.
These days she asks why it's still light out at bedtime but we just say that so the plants can grow a little more.

Re: Daylight savings time
I have to be honest she never adjusted to the Fall time change. She has been up at all ungodly hours since then and exhausted by 7 pm. For MONTHS now. She never ever recovered from it. I am not sure why.
So I am SOOOOO looking forward to next week's spring forward because it will put her back on a normal schedule again!

Daylight savings time
It's a Sunday so she'll just wake up later. I don't think it affects us at all.

No, we've never done that. Nor had I ever heard of the idea until I read it on LIF. Kids adjust, just like adults do. A few days in and they'll adjust fine.

Re: Daylight savings time
I wish DD had gotten the memo and adjusted to the fall time change. Sadly, she is still up at 5 am daily and passing out exhausted by 7 pm. And here we are at the end of it. She never adjusted.

Nope. I just continue things as normal and they never seem to have had an issue.
