food for adults at a kids party?

What do you get for the adults?
Our party ends at 11:45am. DH thinks just pizza will be enough. Would you get a side of some sort? We only have 30min in the party room so there isn't enough time for a full spread of food.

the party ENDS at 11:45 am?

I honestly don't think you need to feed the adults unless it's close lunch or dinner time .......

I'd do coffee and maybe mini bagels, or a cookie tray or something - just as a polite gesture. I wouldn't eat pizza at 11:30 in the morning .......Kids are different ....

I'm assuming the party is at a kids place? DS1 had his 2nd bday at Gymboree, pizza was included in the package but I felt it wasn't enough (for the adults), so I ordered an extra pizza, baked ziti, and salad (from the same place they use.)

pizza is def. good enough ... I do just pizza at any time honestly for adults; the party is for the kids not the adults IMO.

at that time though if I was allowed to bring in bagels I would just get that for the adults.

Re: food for adults at a kids party?

I think pizza is enough. A bowl of salad would be a nice addition but not necessary.

I agree with the PP that suggested bagels instead of pizza. I would prefer bagels at a morning party.

We did pizza, but get more than you predict you will need. In retrospect, I didn't think we had enough.

Re: food for adults at a kids party?

Pizza is easiest at party places with 30 min only for eating and cake.

I do better food at home parties.

i think just making sure you have extra pizza for the adults is fine for that time. especially if its at a kid's party place- adults don't expect a full gourmet meal at those parties Chat Icon and its not like its prime lunch or dinner time--- they can always stop on their way home for more food Chat Icon
it might be nice to have something for the adults to drink/maybe pick at while they kids are doing the party thing Chat Icon (maybe some fruit or veggies or something?? ) i had my son's party at a gymnastics place--- i had bottles of water/iced tea and some bags of popcorn/chips for the adults to snack on while they were watching the kids do the party activities. not many or them actually took any LOL but i just felt like it was nice to have it there if they wanted...

Re: food for adults at a kids party?

Pizza is more than sufficient. We also had cookies and coffee for parents to pick on while the kids were in the gym.
