Need new car seat recommendation
DD is 4 and is 42" and 40lbs. She is currently in a Britax Marathon. I'm looking for a next step seat that will grow with her and keep her in a 5 point harness. I'd need a new seat for a GMC Acadia and Toyota Sienna.

Need new car seat recommendation
We also had the Marathon for DS - we put him in the Britax Pioneer when DD was born 2 years ago and gave her the Marathon.

Britax 5 point harnesses: we have the frontier in the Acadia.
Kids fit in it well. They grew out of the evenflo seat we had as a spare.

We have the Graco Argos and are happy with it. We have then in a Honda Pilot, Jeep Cherokee and Honda Accord.

May I ask why you're taking her out of the Marathon? I'm also in the market for a new seat for my younger child and was looking at the Marathon in hopes it would last longer than 3 years.

I have the Graco Nautilus. It's a 3 in one (high-back booster w/5 point harness, high-back booster w/ seatbelt, then a no-back booster).

We moved DD to the britax frontier in all cars. Shes 4.5 and the other car seats were getting too small for her. She loves the cow pattern.

We bought DD the Britax Pioneer. I liked it because it has a 5-point harness and was not as expensive as the Frontier.

She's getting too big for it. Even though she's within the height/weight limits she doesn't seem as comfy in it as she did previously.

There's a few seats that would work for you! Depending on your budget and how long you want to keep her harnessed for (a minimum of another year and a half or two though)
Graco Tranzitions, argos, nautilus
Britax Frontier or pioneer

Besides weight and height limits on seats, for foward facing you need to have the harness straps coming from above their shoulders. Most convertible seats are outgrown between 4 & 6 depending on the seat and child's torso height.
