Best way to clean vomit from car seat straps?
My daughter threw up all over her car seat. I know not to put the straps in the washing machine or submerge them in water. What's the best and safest way to clean them thoroughly?

This is dangerous and will compromise the integrity of the harness straps. They may not perform correctly in the event of a crash. If you did this, and you're still using the seat I would stop using the seat and contact the company to see if they can be replaced.

Best way to clean vomit from car seat straps?
Baby wipes or a damp rag with a MILD soap ( original blue dawn, baby wash, baby shampoo)
They are not allowed to be soaked or completely saturated in any way. They also can not go in the dryer. You can lay them in the sun outside after washing and that will help too. You may need to repeat a few times

Oh geez sorry to give wrong advice! Didn't know that! I don't have the seat anymore
Question though Is it the vinegar that is dangerous? Bc I didn't saturate them

I'm sorry if that sounded "rough" I didn't mean for it to!!
Yes, the vinegar is what's not good. The acid can/will break down the harnesses and can weaken them.
