I kinda find it tacky that she live streamed her husband's wake (and released official photos - including one with the open casket) and now she's live streaming the funeral.

That is REALLY weird. An open casket photo of your dead husband? Absolutely not, under any circumstances.

Yeah. I feel really bad for her and she looks lost. But live streaming the wake and funeral seems a little over the top.

I dont think the live streaming is bizarre. Maybe to avoid tge media madness. But having an open casket for it I find very bizarre.
ETS: Watching Entertainment Tonight and they mentioned the family is like royalty in Canada. So I can understand it being televised.

They are very popular in canada and she is close with her fans
Ever see the video where she sang with the montage to him
I assume she wants to let her fans pay their respects

I heard that he actually planned the entire funeral. I guess as a producer he wanted this a certain way.

When it comes to grief and life shattering loss, I say you can never really judge, and that very little that one does or allows at that time may be deemed "wrong." This choice, to me, is beyond my questioning.

She is a class act. I admit when I heard he passed my heart sank. The people have a connection with her and she felt as though she wanted to share this with them. Her choice and definitely not tacky IMO.

ITA.. open casket is very common for natural deaths in many parts of the world. Pictures/videos also and there are different "packages" that you can get. You can see her pain, and when someone is going through so much raw emotion, many things are just done for you.

VERY weird. It says a lot about our society where you can't even keep the death of a loved one private.............you don't have to share EVERYTHING with EVERYONE. The world doesn't need to see your DH's funeral streamed for 7 hours. I find it tacky, in poor taste, and just plain odd.
