How do you store your hard copy photos?
It is my resolution to print out all the photos we have of DD#1 before DD#2 comes along. It is already costing me a fortune for all the prints but I really want to do it. Depending on FB to store my stuff just isn't working LOL So if you have actual prints do you use a photo storage box or albums. I feel like albums look so much nicer but they are pricey. Any suggestions?

Re: How do you store your hard copy photos?
I cant answer your question because I never print anything not even the professional ones I get done but I wanted to let you know the shutterfly app right now is having unlimited free 4X6 and 4X4 prints
ETA: thought about your question if I do ever print the pics I would take the easy way out and store it in a box. I would probably pick maybe some to put in an album. maybe you do one album with each year and add to it or do a couple pic a month for one whole year for each album something like that

Re: How do you store your hard copy photos?
I have one big album that you can slip 4x6 prints in. Every once in a while when a website has their "free print" sale we get our recent favorites printed and add them to the album. When a get a free photo book offer, I try to do one for special event photos, etc. We store all of our photos together online at ThisLife.com. It is shutterfly's photo storage site. DH and I both have the app on our phone and our photos are uploaded to it. It allows us both to have access to all our photos wherever we are without having to have them on social media. It is free for photos but we pay for the video storage as well. The video package is $20 a year I think.
ETA: We have about 25,000 photos stored on there but also have them backed up on SD cards, our computer, etc.

I always print a bunch of pictures when Shutterfly has the 101 free print offer. I store them in a box in envelopes labeled according the season (like Summer 2015).

Albums, we usually get them from somewhere like target or Walmart. We have gotten so bad about printing photos, for ds (first child) we have like 1000 printed photos and not much for dd, I have to get on that.

We print our favorite pics and put them in albums. All the others we have stored on a external hard drive that gets backed up to a Mozy account we have.

Re: How do you store your hard copy photos?
In the beginning I put all pictures in albums, but now they seemed destined to sit in a shoe box. I also started doing an annual photobook to give some of the highlights of the year. Originally I was doing one for each of their birthdays, but time isn't around anymore lol.

I feel too overwhelmed by so much stuff so I'm actually in the process of scanning old photos, putting them online, and trashing the ones that I don't want to keep. It's mainly motivated by the thought of how devastated I would be if there was a fire and I lost them all. The ones I keep are just in photo boxes.
However, every year I make a Shutterfly book that has the best photos from the past year. I find myself looking at those more than pulling photos out of a box.

I do the shutterfly books also, and were up to 6 years of them-i display them on an end table in my living room.
When I print pics I only print for the number of frames I use. Old pics from the frames go into clear photo storage boxes, but I only display pics from when we have professional pics done

Re: How do you store your hard copy photos?
I started doing the photo books every year. I LOVE looking at it and seeing the whole year right there in one book. I rarely print additional photos unless they are meant for a frame.

If you sync the pictures from your phone to the app, can you delete them from the phone?
