Norweign Breakaway
We have the opportunity to go on the Breakaway to Bermuda 10/18-10/25, would you take the chance with the weather?
Also, if anyone has done this cruise, thoughts? Tips?

Not unless it's a really good deal. It'll probably be chilly there.

Absolutely. The weather will be in the low 80s and the ship is beautiful. Love the Breakaway!

Re: Norweign Breakaway
Just got back from a trip last Sunday on the Breakaway to Bermuda and it was awesome! The weather was fantastic the entire trip.

Re: Norweign Breakaway
My concern would be hurricane season more so than the temps in Bermuda

If it was a good deal, then yes. I would definitely go.

Re: Norweign Breakaway
We did this cruise in February, I would definitely go in October
Hurricane season is over 11/1, so hopefully there won't be a Sandy Part 2 (though I don't think so!)

Re: Norweign Breakaway
100%. My ILs are on this cruise right now in fact.
I've taken the cruise to Bermuda many times and love it. Since you have 3 days to explore the island, you're not so rushed like on other cruises. We went later than that last year (Mid-November) and the weather was surprisingly hot, though we were in Florida/Bahamas. I know it's a bit farther north, but I think you'll be fine weather wise. We were very lucky and even in NY, the weather was mild- we wore light sweatshirts and drank on deck the first night on the ship. I also really love the ship- there's so much to do and it's a bit of different layout than the other NCL ships.
