How many came? How many were invited?

Those who have invited classmates to birthday parties
This past year was the first time we invited classmates to both our sons' parties (5 and 3). For both, we invited 12, and about 5 or 6 came.

Back in feb for my daughters 5th Bday we invited all 18 of her classmates. Everyone kept telling me not to worry only a handful of kids come, it won't be so bad etc.
Well out of 18 kids, 14 came

oh geez! not that I really mind but want to do a swimming party and just don't want it to be to crazy in the water!

We have always invited the entire class in preschool. We have always had 50-75% attendance.
At our specific school, 1/3 of the class seems to go to every party. 1/3 sometimes comes. 1/3 never comes.
