Children's Bloodwork and Labs
Has anyone taken their child to the Lab at St Charles Hospital for bloodwork and if so do you recommend it over another lab, mine being Quest? I have to take my daughter this week and naturally she absolutely hates it and I want to take her to the one that would be better with children. I'm thinking probably NOT Quest but maybe I'm wrong. Any input?
Thanks

I agree with PP---always take my DD to Good Sam if she needs bloodwork.

Good Sam was excellent when dd1 was a year old. I also had a great experience at the off site stony brook lab on technology drive when dd2 was 2 or 3 months.

Thanks, not familiar at all with Good Sam or the area but I'll look into it. I'd drive anywhere as long as I knew they would be as gentle as possible my my child.

What about Labcorp? I take my son who has special needs there every 3 months, and is deathly afraid of the entire process. They use the "butterfly" needle at my request, and are very patient.

Thanks but they don't take my insurance.
