These pics are awful. I feel terrible for these kids. You can't tell me these parents didn't notice their kids skin turning red! JMO but even if it was the sunscreen that failed... the parents are to blame. If you see your kids skin turning red... bring them indoors.
Have you ever gotten a sunburn? I have, and it usually doesn't show up until much later and when I've come indoors. My son's face got sunburn earlier this year, wasn't red at all while we were out. Hours later he was red.

Wow, this is so upsetting.
I bought two tubes of it because I saw it -- I think at Costco.
I have not used it yet because I had another sunscreen that I was using -- once that ran out I was going to use the other two tubes I bought. But now, I don't think I will take the chance!
Thanks for the recs on Coppertone Pure and Simple.
I'll do that from now on.
You probably would have opened it, seen how greasy and gross it was, and tossed it anyway.
Seriously though- it's nasty.

Wow! Very funny. I used it once and felt DD got more of a burn with it on. Amazing. In the garbage it goes. Def sticking to the pure and simple for sure.

I've been using it on DD and haven't had a problem. It is greasy though which I don't like.

Honest Company Sunscreen- did you hear about this?
Best sunscreen in my opinion is Blue Lizard or Hampton Sun. Both expensive but worth every penny.

I use other Honest products, including diapers and wipes, but never got the sunscreen because of the grease factor.
I use Blue Lizard on my daughter and love it. It's not greasy, goes on easy, and she doesn't burn at all. She has super sensitive skin and eczema and never has a reaction from it. Has a score of 1 on Skin Deep.

I have a lot of experience with sunburns. The kids in these pictures are all really fair skinned... sunburns that severe had warning. I can understand that darker skin tones are harder to see it happening but the kids in these pictures ... that isn't the case.

Thanks for the recommendation. I am going to try Blue Lizard. The Honest one has always worked for us but it's just so greasy.
