The one I have is a cheap ear one, that doesn’t seem accurate. I do like the ear ones, but was also considering the ones you swipe across the forehead. Any thoughts or recommendations on them would be great.
TIA

Re: Please recommend your thermometer
I find the forehead swipe ones are just totally inaccurate and all over the place and I felt like I could never get the swipe right to get a good reading.
I prefer the ear.
I generally will take my temp with it first to gage how accurate it is I normally run around 98.0 or so so I see what it says on me, then do it on DD

I hated the forehead thermometer. A few times it read no fever and then when I went to the ped they would find she had one. Switched to the Braun ear thermometer and I like it so much better.

HATED the Braum thermometer. It was so inconsistent by 2 degrees at times! That's the difference between an ER visit or just some Motrin. If I took it 4 times I got 4 different readings.
I just got one off Amazon that I am IN LOVE with. Its both ear and forehead and no matter which way I do it or how many times I get the same reading or off by .01. Its also got a backlight so when my daughter was sick a few weeks ago and needed to give her meds in the middle of the night I was able to take her temp via forehead without fully waking her.
Its called iProven.
