Club foot or Congenital Vertical Talus
Has anyone's child been born with either of these issues? If so, would you be so kind as to share the name of the doctor who performed corrective surgery and what the outcome was? I have seen 4 surgeons regarding my DD#3's Congenital Vertical Talus, seeking recommendations if there is an outstanding doctor in the New York area for these issues, not fractures (injuries of any sort), scoliosis, etc.

Re: Club foot or Congenital Vertical Talus
My DS has congenital vertical talus. He sees Dr. Carrion at Stony Brook and we love him. He's all business but he's great at what he does. DS had surgery to lengthen his Achilles' tendon last summer and then wore casts and Ponsetti boots. Now he just wears the boots at night. He wears SMOs during the day.
He started walking this spring at just over 2 years old and has been doing great. He also has low tone and left sided weakness.
