Just sharing my major mommy milestone
My little guy is 12 weeks today and went to sleep in his crib tonight for the very first time. Took about an hour but he dosed off all on his own :). Well with me standing by him. No tears or anything. I think it was harder on me than him. 
Now I'll stay glued to the monitor for the next few hours.

Yay! We lived in a one bedroom until dd was about 2, so I was forced to "postpone" that milestone for quite awhile! Enjoy the privacy and freedom!

Yay! We moved dd1 into her crib at 7 weeks and it was so much harder on me than her. She didn't even care. I however cried and stared at the monitor all night. Lol

Congrats! Did he sleep there all night?
I want to transition DD into her crib but I'm afraid to lose the good sleep I'm getting from her in her RNP. DS slept in his crib from 3 weeks on, and I just want to bite the bullet and do it again, but I have less time to nap now with 2 kids.

That's great!! You might be glued to the monitor throughout the night for the next couple of days but eventually you will be able to sleep!
