WWYD?

My grandmother moved to GA a couple years ago with my aunt. She was recently diagnosed with cancer and this week has taken a turn for the worse. My family is planning on flying down to visit one last time (just my siblings, no spouses). My hubby asked if I wanted to bring one of my kids with me. I am torn, my grandmother has never met my 1 year old son - he is great-grandchild #16 out of 17 and the only one she has never met. We've skyped with her, so she has "seen" him. I am clearly not thinking straight and would really like to hear other's opinions.

TIA

ETA: I was there back in February with my daughter.

I think I would. It would be great for her to see him, for the family to see him during a sad time. And you will get a picture of them together.

Would you regret it if they never met?

As someone who just recently lost their grandmother, I was very glad that DH and I made the decision for all those months to bring DS to the rehab center and see his GiGi. She was admitted to the hospital when he was 1 month old and was there for over a month by the time she was released to the rehab, and we got to spend 3 months visiting her there every weekend. She came home and passed 4 days later. I will never regret having brought him to the rehab, I would have regretted it had I not brought him.
