Going rate for a Nanny
What is the going rate for a full time Nanny (9.5hours a day) Monday-Friday
1 child vs 2 children

Going rate for a Nanny
Only because the hours are pretty long- $600 a week for 1 child, $700 for 2 children. I plan on paying our nanny $625 a week when the 2nd child comes along but the hours are less and my son will be in school part- time.

We pay $650 a week for 1 child (longer days, we both work in the city) and when our #2 comes in Dec will raise it to $700.
Many nannies we spoke with on Care.com were looking for $800 a week or $20/hr.

Going rate for a Nanny
Usually $600 for 1, and bumps up to $750 to $800 for two kids . If the older one is in schoool, around $750 which comes out to $15 per hour, for 10 hours.

$15-20 an hour.
Exact number depends on how you want to handle vacations, days off, extra expenses, etc.
