Pediatric podiatrist for foot brace

Dd needs a small foot brace to keep her feet from turning out. I met with a podiatrist who also does pediatric but he doesn't specialize in it and I don't want to use him

Has anybody used a pediatric podiatrist for this reason or any other that is solely pediatric?

If you are comfortable fm me what her exact diagnosis is and if you are seeing an orthopedist

do you mean an SMO? My son wears these and we use east coast prosthetics and orthotics. They have locations in deer park and at Columbia in the city. Make sure whoever you use takes your insurance (find out about deductibles and co pays etc ahead of time, before she is fitted) and make sure that the provider who writes the prescription is in network...these things are shockingly expensive otherwise. I had an OON doctor write a script and brought it to an OON orthotist without realizing it and thank god I asked what it was going to cost...it was $5k for the SMO and a night brace - our entire OON deductible. I said no thanks and looked elsewhere :)
