How long did your LO use a pack and play?

Usually when we go away, my DD sleeps in the pack and play. We are going away shortly after she turns 2. Do you think I can still put her in the pack and play then? How long did your LO use the pack and play?

I said 2-3 because my dd is 2 1/2 and still uses it at my parents and sisters house. I'll continue to use it as long as I can. She sometimes naps in it still too. My dd has always been in the 90th percentile for height too.

DS is only going to use it until he can use a toddler cot, but that's because he hates it.

My dd is 2.5 she still used it. I would say it depends on your childs size and comfort level more than age.

My ds stopped just after a year. We used a cot after that. He is s mover so he wod not be happy in a PnP.

I think it depends on the kid.

My boys LOVED their cribs. My youngest used his pack n play for a vacation last year when he ws 3y1m old. And both my boys are tall for their age.

That was May 2014 but then in July 2014 we set up the pack and play and he decided he wanted to sleep in a bed. so that was the end of that.

Depends on the size of your child really. I stopped using the pnp for my tiny dd around 2.5. She could prob still fit in one now at almost 3, but we upgraded to a toddler inflatable bed since she now sleeps in a reg bed at home.

Until a year. Anytime we traveled, we just had them bring up a crib. So much better & more room

Dd will be 3 in April and I'm planning to have her in one next week when we travel.Crossing my fingers she goes along with it since she's in a toddler bed at home.

We never used it at home, the only time we used one was when we went away.. the last time we used it DS was just under 2.

My kids never slept well in it so we used it until they were about a year. Now we have blow up toddler beds - they sleep so much better in there and they are a lot easier to transport.

We don't use it day-to-day. He does not like being in there, confined, to play.

So, I use it only for traveling - he sleeps in it very well.

DS is 2 and still sleeps in the PnP at my parents house. We plan on using it until he's 2.5 years old b/c that's when DD will be born. Then he'll sleep in a bed there...hopefully.

The last time we used it, DD was almost 3 and we were at a friend's house down the Jersey Shore for a couple of days. She was very big for it at that point and probably could have climbed over the railing easily, but she didn't try and didn't complain. It was so easy for us to have it there and a great piece of mind that we could put her to bed at 8:00 and keep hanging out with our friends into the night (instead of worrying that she'd get out of a bed and wander around a strange house).

We have been living with my mil for 6 months while we renovate. Ds is 22 mos and has been sleeping in a pnp the entire time. I will continue to use it for an occasional overnight or vacation until he is ready to sleep in a bed.

DS slept in his until he was almost a year old. Then he moved to his crib where he sleeps at 18 months. He occasionally goes in his pack & play to play with his building blocks, but otherwise never. He's not happy hanging out in it for long, he likes to get up & move around too much.

3.5 for traveling and naps at my sister's house. Finally got too long. Could probably be used for a nap or 1 night still but decided to put it away.
