Nursery school?
If your 2 year old goes to a nursery program could you share the program hours, number of days a week and the cost?
Thanks!

We go 2 days a week 9-11:30 in Farmingdale.
You will find prices vary. Where are you looking to send your child? Nassau/suffolk???

Re: Nursery school?
He is currently at daycare within the private school where I work. It's a nursery-12 school, and I am looking at enrollment in the 2 year old program for next year. I'm just interested in how the tuition compares to other nursery programs.
It would be either 3 or 5 days a week, 9-1 or 9-3 depending on what after-care I work out (MIL's schedule, basically).

3 days a week, 3 hours a day about $100 a week
Edit. This is over the summer. Not sure what the school year next year will be, but it's longer hours and more expensive.

Nursery school?
I live in NJ- but my son is 4 and goes to a nursery school. he goes 3 AMs a week from 9-11:30... so a total of 7 1/2 hours a week. its about $200 a month- BUT its also a "co-op", so the parents are the teacher's assistants. they give us a schedule in August of our days to be in there as assistant- it usually ends up being about once a month, so not too bad- actually kind of fun. so that's why its cheaper- they don't pay teacher's assitants, AND when its your turn to be in there, you provide the snack, too- so the school isn't paying for that...

Re: Nursery school?
I pulled this up from my son's daycare facility -- his daycare is a daycare, then a pre-school, and then a private school K-8.
Anyway, it says:
Toddler Programs (2 year olds)
Monday/Wednesday/Friday — 9:15am-11:45am or 12:15pm - 2:15pm
Tuesday/Thursday — 9:15am-11:45am or 12:15pm-2:15pm
In warm nurturing surroundings, teachers help 2 year olds discover the world around them through active participation. In this learning through play environment, cooperative and creative activities incorporate educational materials to encourage language and concept development. Music, movement and art help children develop small and large motor skills and build self-confidence. Special attention is given to each child’s individual growth pattern and evolving personality. Class is limited to 10 toddlers with two teachers.
Here's the costs, as per their site:
Toddler (2 Years)
9:15am - 11:45am, Mon/Wed/Fri, $4,350 a year or $435 a month
9:15 - 11:45am, Tues/Thurs, $3650 a year or $365 a month
12:15pm - 2:15pm, Mon/Wed/Fri, $3,690 a year or $369 a month
12:15 - 2:15pm, Tues/Thurs, $3,100 a year or $310 a month

Mine is at a church nearby and I already had to put DS on a wait list for when he turns two. It's your choice- 1 day/week morning or afternoon for 2.5 hours, deposit was $200 then $90/mo The other choice is 2 days/week morning or afternoon, not sure of the cost. From Sept to Jan, it's cooperative so you attend with your child. Feb 1-June, you drop them off. I think 1day is enough for DDs who are November babies. IMO too young for 2 days
